It is a condition of membership or attending a Learn to Row activity at Capital Lakes Rowing Club that you declare the following statements are true and/or you agree to the following conditions: (Please scroll to bottom of terms and conditions and tick box).

Membership and Learn to Row

• I am a competent swimmer, able to swim 100 metres in light clothing, and will prove so if asked.
• I will advise CLRC of any existing or new injury or illness that may affect my ability to participate in rowing activities.
• I agree to abide by the CLRC Constitution and the Code of Conduct of the ACT Rowing Association. 
• I authorise CLRC to take reasonable action on my behalf (including the incurring of expenses) in connection with any injury or illness that I may incur while engaged in Club activities.
• I agree to undertake 20 hours of voluntary work per year in support of CLRC and its activities.
• I agree to pay my annual membership fee and understand that if the membership fee, RACT registration fee and regatta seats fees are not paid in advance I am not eligible to participate in any CLRC or Rowing ACT activitites.

Membership Additional

• I have read, understood and will comply with the CLRC Safety Policy and Procedures.
• I may be required to undertake annual capsize training.
